day to night translight

In those instances when budgets and time are limited, when no nighttime version is available and especially if an image can be chosen from our Image Library, we are able to convert a daytime image to a Day to Night translight.

The Day to Night translight shown on this page was achieved by computer manipulation of an image originally created by joining together several high resolution scans of 10" x 8" transparencies taken in daylight. After extensive Photoshop work was carried out to create the nighttime version, the day and night versions were then printed on either side of backlight Vinyl Coated polyester in perfect registration to enable it to be lit from the front or back creating that magic moment when day turns to night.'
