Rutters continued its ten year relationship with Warner Brothers and the Harry Potter film series by printing the reproduction of a mosaic floor as the main feature in the Gringotts Bank set constructed at Leavesden Film Studios, Watford, for the last in the series of the films.
The floor was printed in 1600mm wide sections. Over 610 sq metres of matt paper was used, chosen for its quality and ease of installation. The main image was 38m x 15m with extras pieces printed for the side rooms.
The client mounted the images onto a specially prepared MDF floor surface and then applied coloured gloss lacquer to create the simply breathtaking effect of a giant marble mosaic. The final result is out of this world!
This prestigious and high-profile project was completed in less than 21 days from receipt of the artwork.
